Sainsbury’s has announced the opening date of its new store in Billingshurst.
The national supermarket chain has taken over the unit previously owned by Budgens, in High Street, after the pair agreed a deal back in March.
The store has been closed for the past four months whilst conversion works have been carried out.
Sainsbury’s announced this week work is coming to an end and the store will re-open on Thursday August 6 at 7am.
Back in March residents raised concerns about the store being closed for a long period of time whilst the take-over took place.
In response to the concerns Sainsbury’s created a free bus service which took shoppers to and from the superstore in Horsham.
