HORSHAM district residents flew flags, got out the bunting and celebrated the Royal Wedding today with street parties and barbecues.
Right across the district there were toasts raised to the happy couple Prince William and Catherine Middleton.
Several official street parties were organised, such as at Percy Road in Horsham where organiser Tricia Egerton said it was a good rehearsal for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee next year.
Dozens of smaller parties were organised across the district but one of the biggest was at Horsham Trinity Cricket Club where around 50 households in the area got together for food, fun and games.
See Thursday’s West Sussex County Times for a full round-up of how Horsham district celebrated the wedding.
