A GROUP of enterprising youngsters from Billingshurst are organising a talent show in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
With the help of local enterprise trainer, Claire Cutler-Casey, as part of the ‘Enterprise in Billingshurst’ project, TAG youth club has planned the ‘Billingshurst HAS got talent’ event for the weekend of the Diamond Jubilee.
The group has produced posters and fliers, secured support from local organisations, and learnt many useful skills including writing press releases and negotiating.
The ‘Billingshurst HAS got talent’ heats will take place on Friday June 1 with the final on Saturday June 2, both at the Billingshurst Community and Conference Centre on Roman way.
The winner will nominate which charity the profits are donated to.
Entry forms are available from the community centre for just £3 per act and entries close on Friday May 25.
The ‘Enterprise in Billingshurst’ project is co-funded by SEEDA, Women’s Wisdom and the Billingshurst Community Partnership and is supported by West Sussex County Council.
