Residents asked to help beat the wet weather blues

After the wettest April on record for 100 years Arriva buses has launched a national appeal aimed at helping members of the public beat the Great British weather.

The leading bus company is creating a special country-wide guide to rainy days out in Britain featuring destinations and attractions that can be reached by hopping on board an Arriva bus.

Arriva is appealing for members of the public of all ages from up-and-down the country to rally together and help make the guide happen by sharing their rainy days out suggestions.

Linsey Frostick regional marketing manager for Arriva, said: “With the school summer holiday fast-approaching, now’s the time when people are increasingly turning their attention to planning days out and about. We want to show people that there are still plenty of things they can do come rain or shine.”
