District Commissioner Peter Scofield attended the Brooker Beaver Colony meeting to present a special award to ‘Woodpecker’, Beaver Scout Leader Lynn Roberts.
Lynn was presented with the Chief Scout’s Award for 20 years service with the group.
Lynn started her service when the group was 5th Horsham and she was the chairman of the group. She then became Assistant Scout Leader when the group merged with 10th Horsham and became 5th/10th Horsham Weald Scouts.
Lynn has been Beaver Scout Leader with the Brooker Colony for two years and was also presented with her Wood badge having completed her training.
