SWIMMING pool and hot tub company Home Counties in Horsham is celebrating after collecting three prizes at the Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association (SPATA) industry Awards, last Sunday (February 6).

Two silver awards were given to Home Counties for the categories ‘Liner Pools up to £30,000’ (sponsored by Aquaflex) and ‘Liner Pools £30,000 and over’ (sponsored by Plastica). The company also took home a bronze award in the category ‘Non Traditional Pool Installations’.

Craig Trusson, managing director of Home Counties Horsham Ltd said: “We are absolutely delighted to be acknowledged at the SPATA awards. They are a great testimony to the hard work that all of the team at Home Counties has put in over the last year.”

The SPATA awards showcase the best examples of construction, design and innovation in the pool industry.

Chris Hayes, managing director of SPATA said: “This year was the 50th anniversary of SPATA and the awards once again created tough competition for the judges with a shortlist of 85 entries across 22 categories. The awards profile some excellent work from our members and demonstrates the value of choosing a SPATA member to build or renovate your pool.

“SPATA host their awards evening at the SPATEX exhibition, part of the Pool Spa and Lifestyle Show, the UK’s largest swimming pool and hot tub exhibition, which also held its 15th annual trade show at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Exhibition Centre over the weekend.”
