RESIDENTS are reminded there are new ways to contact Horsham District Council by using the Internet.
The council now has its own Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages where residents can contact the Council and view updates and activities.
News releases, images of council activities plus videos of what’s happening at Horsham District Council can be viewed through these social media sites.
Helena Croft, cabinet member for communication, special projects & Horsham town, said: “With the rapid growth of social media and modern communication methods, I am delighted to see Horsham District Council engaging in new ways such as Facebook and Twitter to communicate with its residents.
“Fast and more effective dialogue and access to information means we can ensure our residents receive the very highest service and I would encourage everyone, even if you are not used to social media, to log on to the Internet and take a look.”
Residents are still able to contact the council in all the usual ways, such as writing in, calling the switchboard on 01403 215100 or visiting the council’s offices in North Street, Horsham.
