Councillors voted tonight (Tuesday May 14) to start planning enforcement action on property owned by Horsham District Councillor John Bailey.

Members of the HDC development control committee north heard that Mr Bailey (Con, Rudgwick) had allowed a storage shed in Highcroft Drive, Rudgwick, to be used by a third party business as a base, which is contrary to a planning condition concerning the property.

After complaints from neighbours of disturbance and increased traffic, officers had recommended they grant permission for them to start taking action. Members unanimously agreed.
