EMOTIONS ran high last night (Tuesday) as councillors at Horsham District Council made a decision for Bill’s Produce to move into Horsham Old Town Hall.
The debate became political as Conservative and Independent members voted for the building to be leased to the restaurant, which market which prides itself on service local produce.
The Liberal Democrats voted against the decision in favour of using the town hall for community and voluntary groups.
Strong words were exchanged throughout the meeting over what should be housed at the historic Market Square building.
