Intruders attempted to break into two homes in Horsham, police have said.

Police said an attempt was made to try and gain access to a home in Holbrook School Lane on Tuesday (May 31).

Damage was caused to the front door but no entry was gained.

Officers said the owner alerted a neighbour who discovered a similar attempt had been made on his property.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “It is thought that the attempts may have been made that day, but given the small amount of damage, it may not have been noticed previously.
