Police helicopter called to village to search for missing girl

Horsham Police attended the incident at about 9.30pm.

Officers from Crawley and Worthing were also sent to help search the area.

Police said the girl was found a few hours later safe and well.

She has returned home, officers added.

Neighbours and officers were praised by the force for their help in locating the youngster.
