Horsham Police has donated £100 to Warnham Allotments Association to help fund the cutting back of large overgrown hedging that borders the allotments.

The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund (PPAF), made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.

Police Community Support Officer Tracy Field said: “The PPAF enables us to help support local organisations and to assist them to carry out works that benefit the community.

“I am really pleased that we were able to help Warnham Allotments Association on this occasion.”
