Police appeal after attempted burglary in Southwater

Sussex police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted burglary at a property in Southwater

The incident occurred at a home in Kings Lane on Monday (8 September).

It was reported that a neighbour heard an alarm coming from the property at around 5.30pm where a wooden gate and a large conservatory window had been forced open.

PC Jennifer Hurst said: “Fortunately nothing appears to have been taken and the rest of the house was seemingly untouched and secured.

“Please get in contact if you saw anything suspicious in the area.”
