CLUBBERS from the Horsham district have been left with one less option following Liquid and Envy in Crawley ceasing trading.
The nightclub in Station Way, town centre, has been closed after its parent company went into administration.
Its owner, Luminar Group Holdings PLC, said 30 full time and part time employees have been made redundant.
But the club’s former general manager Adam Foxley said the number of jobs axed, including cleaners and DJs, was up to 75.
He said: “I was told I lost my job in a letter so I’m not the happiest bunny.
“I’m disappointed as I started collecting glasses 11 years ago at the club and worked my way through the ranks.
“I then worked at clubs throughout the company and finally got the chance to come back to my home town.
“Now it has been closed permanently.”
Mr Foxley said up to 1,000 people were coming to the club on a Saturday night.
Horsham still has Chameleon Bar off Albion Way in the town which draws clubbers from across the district.
