AN AMATEUR painting group is to stage an exhibition and sale of their autumn work.

The Horsham Painting Group’s Autumn Art show will take place at the Quaker Meeting House on Worthing Road, Horsham on Saturday November 26 from 10am to 4pm.

Framed and unframed original paintings by members of the group will be on sale, together with a selection of cards.

Group members work in a variety of different media and styles and organisers said there should be something on show to suit most tastes.

Refreshments will also be available and admission to the exhibition is free.

The group is an enthusiastic collection of amateur artists who enjoy getting together to paint and share their enjoyment of painting.

Every Tuesday evening during term time the group meets at the Forest School, Comptons Lane.

Free taster sessions are available so that prospective members can attend a meeting to see the type of work the members do.

Organiser David Jeans said: “This is an ideal opportunity to get that slightly different Christmas present. We are always on the lookout for new members and welcomes artists of any ability and working in any medium or style.”
