Hi kids. It turns out all that training I did with the team GB athletes paid off!
Great Britain won six medals in Russia, three gold ones and three bronze.
I really enjoyed cheering everybody on, it was amazing to see so many talented athletes in action!
I’m sure they’re all ready to relax and enjoy the rest of the summer, just like I am. I’m trying to make the most of the holidays before it’s time to go back to school.
It was really strange to be in a country which speaks another language! I did learn how to say “Hello” in Russian, but now I want to learn more.
Do any of you know how to say “Hello” in another language? (It’s “Woof” in dog-language, by the way!)
Now that I’m back home after a terrific summer holiday, I’m looking forward to spending some time playing with my friends and family. So far I’ve played a lot of fetch, and mum and dad are teaching me some card games.
All this running around can get exhausting, and sometimes it’s nice to just lay back and soak in the sunshine.
I’m writing this after enjoying a rest and a well-deserved ice cream!
Travelling was so much fun, but I’ve missed all my friends so much, and my favourite chew toy!
I didn’t want to leave at first, I was having so much fun, but getting to sleep in my own comfy bed again is great, there really is no place like home.
As always, I’d love to see any pictures of what you’re up to this summer. Whether or not you’re on holiday in another country, or relaxing at home, let me know what you’re up to!
