RUDGWICK village is inviting everyone to their Diamond Jubilee celebration next month.
The party starts at 1pm on Monday June 4 with a parade from the centre of the village led by the village crier with the nominated parade king and queen riding on the lead tractor and accompanied by kings and queen throughout history.
Throughout the afternoon there will be stalls, sideshows, competitions, a skateboard demonstration, children’s games, tug of war, an all age village wide Zumba session and a fitness display as well as other activities to take part in.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day and a spit roast and barbecues will light up in the evening when there will be a night of musical entertainment.
From 5pm five local bands will be saluting Jubilee with their own genres to satisfy every taste and filling the mid summer night with a massive musical celebration.
People are welcome to bring a picnic enjoy the music on the playing field.
