The opening of the newly refurbishedBudgens in Henfield took place last Thursday (February 13) with an official ribbon cutting.

Marie Knight cut the ribbon at 10am and guests were invited by new owners David and Lynette Knight for tea and coffee with a tour of the shop which took place at 9am.

Digby Stephenson, editor-in-chief at the Henfield Hub said: “David and Lynette Knight are a young couple, about to move into the area from Basingstoke, who have a strong desire to integrate both themselves and their supermarket into the local community.

“We will be meeting them once the dust has settled on their project to discuss how we can work together.”

David and Lynette are pictured with daughters Isabelle,3, and Charlotte.
