Fittleworth Playgroup opens its doors to children as young as three months old on Monday, 9 September, 2013.
The new Baby Room will provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for babies and toddlers up to the age of two years old.
The community playgroup, which has been caring for pre-school children for more than 40 years, is excited for the first time to offer parents good quality and affordable care.
Karen Fearns, general manager of Fittleworth Playgroup said: “Linda Ede, manager of the Baby Room has 20 years experience of looking after babies. I trust her with my own children; she looked after my 10 year old son when he was a baby and from September she will be looking after my new baby daughter in the new baby room.”
Fittleworth Playgroup is a charity and as such keeps its fees low and invests any profits or, funds raised straight back into the Playgroup.
The Baby Room is the latest investment made by the charity. Over the last five years it has also relocated to new purpose built premises, invested in a large climbing frame to encourage outdoor play, developed a programme of key skills development; from music sessions and French lessons, to technology for tots.
From September Fittleworth Playgroup also has a limited number of spaces available for children aged between two and five years.
