Aiming to change the face of recycling in the UK, a search engine has smashed through the 20,000 milestone of listed recycling locations.
Paul Bearman, from Horsham, who founded Recyclopedia.com to help people find locations to recycle rubbish or unwanted items, now has his eyes firmly set on reaching 30,000.
The website aims to give people easily accessible information on what items can and cannot be recycled.
Paul said: “It’s fantastic that we’ve hit this milestone, as we are constantly expanding our recycling location information.
“The great thing with Recycleopedia.com is that anyone can add to our searchable database, keeping the information constantly up to date and relevant.”
With a European household recycling rate target of 50 per cent by 2020, Recycleopedia.com aims to play its part, by making it easy for people to find out what they can put where.
