Twenty members of The Fitness League did a marathon three hours of exercises on Sunday morning at Henfield Hall to raise £2,000 for charity.

The ladies, from Henfield, Hurstpierpoint and Hassocks, raised half for the British Heart Foundation and half for St. Barnabas Hospice.

Teacher Sally Marples said: “It was a brilliant effort by everyone and we have to thank our sponsors who gave so generously.”

Sally runs classes at Henfield Hall on Monday nights and Thursday mornings, Hurspierpoint Methodist Church on Tuesday mornings and Hassocks United Reform Church on Wednesday nights.
