A MAN has been taken to hospital after suffering a ‘trauma injury’ in Horsham this evening (Sunday May 13).
Surrey Air Ambulance was called to the scene, landing on top of Piries Place car park around 5.45pm.
Police and land ambulance crews were also in attendance.
Early reports suggested that the incident happened in or near the flats near the car park.
A spokesperson for the air ambulance said: “A male in his 50s was taken by land ambulance to a major trauma centre at Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton accompanied by our doctor and critical care paramedic.
“It is a trauma injury and not believed to be life-threatening.”
