Lunch Club raises over £300

The New Horizons Appeal Lunch Club visited Charleston House, near Lewes, at the end of September with three local authors and raised over £300 for St Catherine’s Hospice.

Pictures are of The Lunch Club member Sue Crofts with local crime writer Simon Brett and Sally Pavey, volunteer organiser, with author Bethan Roberts in the gardens at Charleston House.

Other authors were Bethan Roberts and Sarah Rayner. Charleston House was there’s for a private tour and relaxed lunch whilst chatting literature with those that put pen to paper for a living.

“These lunches are an enjoyable event whilst raising money for a local cause,” said Sally Pavey volunteer organiser.
