Woman resuscitated after '˜severe asthma attack' near Horsham pub

A woman was resuscitated by paramedics after she suffered a '˜severe asthma attack' near a pub in Horsham yesterday (Tuesday February 9).

The woman, aged in her 40s, was taken to Worthing Hospital ‘as a priority’, a spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said.

Emergency services were called to Worthing Road near The Boar’s Head after the woman collapsed at about 4.45pm.

An ambulance and paramedic car were called to the pub, and were joined by a unit from the air ambulance.

The spokesperson said she was in a serious condition, and arrived at hospital in the ambulance just before 7pm.
