Woman rescued from car in pond - did you see the incident?
A WOMAN was rescued after her car left the road and landed in a pond on Friday June 6.
Eye witnesses said the car, which was being driven on the A272 at Wisborough Green by an elderly woman, who is not thought to be local, left the road shortly before 3.30pm.
South East Coast Ambulance service was called to the scene but did not take anyone to hospital.
The car was removed from the pond by a break down van at around 5pm.
