Weather warning issued as storms expected in West Sussex

Plenty of rain to come.

Plenty of rain to come.

West Sussex has been issued a weather warning as storms are set to hit the county on Saturday (June 7).

The Met Office warning says heavy, thundery rain is likely to strike, and the intensity of the storms could lead to some flooding.

However, the warning states it is likely that many places within the current, broad warning area of London and the South East will miss the worst of the storms.

At this stage, the location of the heaviest rainfall is uncertain.
