Warnham pub to hold cerebral palsy charity firewalk
Firewalking
The Greets Inn, Warnham, has arranged a charity firewalk for November.
The firewalk, to be held on Sunday November 4, will help raise funds for The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy.
The event will be held at the Greets Inn’s country garden and will be organised by Cliff Mann, founder of Time 4 Change, and the most experienced firewalking instructor in Europe.
Over the past three decades Cliff has successfully guided literally thousands of people, from all walks of life, over the hot coals.
“Firewalking is widely acknowledged as being a hugely positive experience, which has helped change people’s lives for the better,” saidGreets Inn proprietor Duncan Entwistle.
“By raising lots of money for such a worthy cause, we hope to have a positive impact on those that benefit from the Trust’s invaluable work.
“There’s a number of us from the team here at The Greets signed up to do it, including myself, and we hope lots more will join us.”
Rosie Wyer, regional fundraiser at the Trust said: “This is our fifth firewalk.
“Everyone who has taken part so far said it was an extraordinary and flamin’ good event!”
