The war memorial in the Carfax in Horsham town centre will once more be the focus of this year’s Remembrance Sunday service this weekend.

The service will begin at 10.50am led by the Rev Guy Bridgewater, after the arrival of the parade when the service will begin with the hymn ‘O God Our Help in Ages Past’.

The Parade Marshall will call the Parade to attention and they will then march to St. Mary’s Church in the Causeway, Horsham, for the service to which everyone is welcome.

Various remembrance services are going on in and around the district this Sunday, November 11. These include:

Southwater Community Methodist Church and the Holy Innocents Church will hold a service at the war memorial in Lintot Square at 10.45am.

St Nicholas Church in Cranleigh will hold a service at 9.30am before heading to the war memorial at 10.55am.

Storrington Parish services will take place at St Mary’s Church, Thakeham at 9.30am, St Mary’s Church, Sullington at 11:30am and St Mary’s Church in Church Street at 2.55pm.
