VIDEO: Snowy village quiet after schools close

Waiting for Video...

Storrington was quiet this morning, with snow causing its first school and some playschools close.

Shops closed up early on Monday evening, and many were slow to reopen today.

The main road through the village, A283, was slushy and passable with care first thing, but many side roads were icy and blustery wind had caused flakes to drift into piles several inches deep in places.
