Firefighters dealt with a gas cylinder that had caught fire at a festive fair in Merryfield Drive this afternoon (Saturday December 1).
The area was cordoned off as the fire was put out, while stallholders and fair organisers waited to finishing clearing up.
The Cootes Farm Community Misteltoe Fayre was held on the green with entertainment, a beer tent and various stalls selling gifts and food.
