Update: Hunt on for men who held woman captive
THE hunt is on for two men who kept a woman captive in her own home and robbed her this morning (May 7).
The woman who was left very distressed was unable to call a neighbour for help for up to an hour after the men got in to the flat at Burton Court, Copnall Way in the town centre at about 7.30am.
Police are looking for two white men in their early 30s, one was about 6ft and the second was shorter at about 5ft7 with shaved hair.
Forensic officers carried out work while police spoke to the victim.
Horsham district commander, detective inspector, Pierre Serra, has described the attack as particularly unpleasant and the victim was very shaken and upset.
She was seen by paramedics.
DI added: "It is very early on in an investigation, and we do not yet know what property has been stolen. Currently there is an officer guarding the lady's home, to maintain evidence."
