Stormy weather.

Stormy weather.

Rudgwick Primary School will be closed to all students today (Monday January 6) due to a loss of water.

The school confirmed on its website that a burst water main has caused the closure.

This follows the news that Loxwood Primary School will be partially closed due to flooding.

Teachers are unable to open the school’s infant department today after flood water swept through classrooms.

The department will also be shut tomorrow (Tuesday January 7).

A statement on the school’s website reads: “Due to flooding the infant department (Young Explorers, Oak and Willow Classes) will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. Updates will follow. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
