Teenager hurt in collision with police car
A 15-YEAR-OLD boy was injured after an accident involving a marked police car on Saturday evening (May 31).
Police have confirmed the car was being driven by a Police Community Support Officer in the incident outside Horsham railway station, in North Street, at around 6.50pm.
The boy was taken to hospital and released later with minor injuries.
Officers closed part of the road for a short time after the incident and a Sussex Police road traffic unit was at the scene until 10pm.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A police spokesperson said the vehicle was being driven in an appropriate manner with no sirens or warning lights.
