Sussex Children’s author to promote new book in Horsham
'Tamara Small and the Monsters' Ball' book cover by Sussex author Giles Paley-Phillips
Children’s author Giles Paley-Phillips will be at Waterstones, Horsham on December 1 between 11am-3pm promoting his new book ‘Tamara Small and the Monsters’ Ball’ which is out now nationwide and digitally on The Nook.
This is Giles’ third book, following on from last years People’s Book Prize winning Book ‘The Fearsome Beastie’
The book is about a little girl called Tamara Small who can’t get to sleep one night, when she hears a noise outside her room, she fears the worst and Suddenly she is whisked away by a hairy monster.
Luckily it is just the monsters from her neighbourhood inviting her to their annual ball.
Some Critics are likening it to ‘The Snowman’ by Raymond Briggs, only with Monsters!
Giles Lives in East Sussex with his Wife Michelle and their two Sons, Elijah and Sonny.
Giles is the award winning author of The Fearsome Beastie, winner of the People’s Book Prize 2012, BizzieBaby Gold Award, Forward National Literary Award, and has been Shortlisted for The Rotherham Children’s Book Award and Scottish Books Trust’s Heart Of Hawick Children’s Book Award.
