Surrey Police has renewed an appeal for information from the public to help locate a man who absconded from a secure hospital unit.
Luke Elsmore, 23, disappeared from Farmfield Hospital in Horley at around 10am on Friday December 27.
Extensive searches have been carried out to find Mr Elsmore, and the Worthing area remains a key focus of attention.
Officers from Sussex Police are working closely with Surrey Police to help locate Mr Elsmore.
He is described as white, around 6ft 2ins tall, of stocky build with short black hair.
He was wearing a navy blue jumper, jogging bottoms and black trainers when he was last seen.
He has a history of violence and although there is no indication of any direct threat to the public, anyone who believes they may have seen him are urged not to approach him but to phone police immediately on 101.
