Strong winds cause obstruction in Horsham

Waiting for Video...

Strong winds have caused an obstruction on Brighton Road beside a construction sight where boarders have fallen down, blocking the pathway.

This is just a small insight into the heavy gusts that have descended onto West Sussex.

A picture was sent in by Mannings Heath resident, Jason Garbutt, showing a 25 foot tree in his garden snapped in two by the windy weekend weather. Mr Garbutt’s eight year-old son, Elliot, is seen standing by the aftermath.

If you have suffered any damage caused by this week’s bad weather, email simon.robb@sussexnewspapers.co.uk with your pictures and videos.
