This year the volunteer organisers of the New Horizons Appeal group have made the Autumn Gift Fair, on behalf of St Catherine’s Hospice, the biggest it has ever been to aid their 25th anniversary celebrations.
September 17 is the Exclusive Preview Night, supported by West Sussex County Times, takes on a Downton Abbey theme with volunteers dressing the part, a band playing, and Bespoke Rallies bringing a display of vintage cars to the outside of the large marquee. Visitors do not have to dress the part.
The Fair, taking place in the grounds of the privately owned country estate of Sir Charles and Lady Burrell, Knepp Castle at Shipley, is steeped in West Sussex history and provides the angelic setting for such a classy event.
“We hope people join us and celebrate raising money for a local cause whilst having a very enjoyable time,” said volunteer organiser Sally Pavey.
This exclusive shopping event attracts those discerning shoppers looking for quality, individuality, something rather special for the present draw.
The Autumn Gift Fair is close to the hearts of many Surrey and Sussex residents, as shoppers know that from every penny spent on wonderful gifts for her, him, children and the home, ten per cent goes to the hospice.
Fair Day is Thursday September 18; admission is £5 on the gate.
