Slideshow: inside Horsham Railway Station
THE County Times was given an exclusive glimpse of the revamped Horsham Railway Station, costing 1.5m.
It will triple the useable floorspace inside of the listed building without adding to the structure, says a senior project manager at Southern Rail.
Pieter Wilke, the man behind this huge project, claims ‘the wait will be worth it’.
Demolition of the inside has now taken place, a new entrance is taking shape and a wider staircase has been installed opposite the old stairs - now ripped out.
Our slideshow show the ongoing work.
Mr Wilke added he aims to have the station open and fully refurbished by early September this year.
