School's 'Apprentice' winner
WHAT would happen if you gave 15 year old school girls in Horsham £1,00,000 to spend on their school?
Sarah Butterfield, from Farlington School, in Broadbridge Heath, decided to improve the Arts.
"She went for the 'wow' factor and proposed a new theatre called the 'Vive' theatre," said marketing director Sara Greer, the organiser of the Farlington School Apprentice 2009.
The Year 10 pupil has won 100 prize money and a special trophy after triumphing at the end of a week of tasks that followed the mould of the popular TV series.
Each day of the week, one girl from an original six was eliminated after a challenge set by various organisations including a catering company, local radio station, and Gary Shipton, Editor In Chief of the County Times group (see this week's Business Matters for more details).
