Protesters due at rally at West Sussex County Council offices

Hundreds of people are expected to gather outside County Hall in Chichester this morning ahead of a West Sussex County Council meeting at 10.30am.

Led by Don’t Cut Us Out, who have been helping people who have had their care packages cut by the county council, the campaigners will stage the protest before presenting their petition to council members during the meeting.

Don’t Cut Us Out have gathered more than 5,000 signatures meaning the council has to debate the issue.

If you are there, chat with our reporter Pete Walker, and post your comments below.

The full story of the meeting and protest will be in next week’s County Times.
