Traffic was diverted and delayed on the main Horsham to Guildford road today (Saturday June 21) following a serious accident.
Now Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following the two vehicle collision on the A281
A police statement says that the collision occurred at around 8.30am in the Bramley area as the vehicles travelled in opposite directions along Horsham Road.
A blue Ford Mondeo and a red Mitsubishi Evo were involved in the incident. The driver and passenger of the Mondeo, a man and woman in their 60s, suffered serious injuries and were taken to St Georges Hospital in Tooting for treatment.
The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, a man in his 20s, suffered minor injuries in the collision.
Officers are keen to speak with anyone who either witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident.
