“Being new to Pestalozzi, it was such an honour to make my first Pestalozzi presentation at this networking event,” he said.

“I thoroughly enjoyed speaking to the audience about the great work that our charity does, the inspirational young people who are on our scholarship programme, as well as explain more about the success of our charity in changing the lives of individuals and the communities they come from.”

The monthly club is organised by the 1066 Federation of Small Businesses chairman Brett MacLean.

Brett was impressed by the stories of some of the young people Pestalozzi support.

“The chairman’s breakfast club is aimed at connecting businesses and community groups together in a relaxed environment,” he said.

“James was an excellent speaker who was able to inform attendees about the amazing work undertaken by the Pestalozzi International Children’s Village Trust and the individual accounts about student achievements was simply outstanding and inspirational.

“For example, one student continued their education at Harvard, another student became a microbiologist, whilst others entered the world’s of banking and economics.”
