Person struck by train - services delayed

There were severe delays on trains through Horsham tonight (Thursday October 11) after an earlier incident at Gatwick Airport.

A person was struck by a train at Gatwick Airport railway station at around 4.45pm.

Services started moving once emergency teams finished at the scene, but Southern was warning that trains running between London and the south coast could be delayed by up to 60 minutes.
