One week to vote for best dressed window

There’s just under a week left to vote for the best Horsham town centre shop window or market stall display as part of this year’s ‘Dressed for Success’ campaign.
The exciting initiative is the brainchild of town centre business partnership Horsham Unlimited and is managed and delivered by Horsham District Council in association with lead sponsor Spofforths Chartered Accountants.
Votes have never meant so much to all of Horsham’s businesses and with the chance of winning some amazing prizes, there’s never been a better incentive.
The Sony Centre in Horsham has offered a 22” LED television while Thomas Cook is offering the chance to win a UK weekend break for two.
In particular, over 50 businesses this year have requested an all important branding pack to get behind the campaign and have personally come forward to say that they are ‘Dressed for Success’ this year and ready for votes. Look out for their ‘Vote 4 Us’ branding.
Don’t forget that this year Horsham’s market traders are also vying for voters’ attention with their fantastic Christmas displays available for voters to judge on Thursdays, Saturdays, and every Sunday from now until Christmas, plus every day from Wednesday December 19 until Monday December 24.
Helena Croft, Horsham District Council’s Cabinet Member for Communication, Special Projects and Horsham Town, said: “I’m very impressed with the enthusiasm to participate in our Dressed for Success initiative. The shop windows are looking excellent, which I’m sure will give a real boost to the Christmas economy and makes shopping in the town an even greater pleasure!”
Placing a vote has never been so easy. Find ‘horshamd4s’ on Facebook, and click on ‘VOTE HERE’. Don’t forget to ‘Share’ before voting.
Alternatively, pick up a voting form from any of the participating businesses, from Swan Walk shopping centre opposite BHS, or from the Horsham Markets Information Stand in the Carfax on a market day and post in one of the town’s dedicated Dressed for Success post boxes (see town promotions and voting form for details). Voting ends at midnight on Monday December 24.
