West Sussex County Council has proposed to introduce a new 50mph speed limit in Billingshurst.
The new limit is proposed for the B2133 between Broadford Bridge and Adversane. It currently has a national speed limit.
The county council’s statement of reason for proposing the new limit said: “Local residents have requested that a speed limit be progressed to link the existing 40mph speed limits within Adversane and Broadford Bridge.

“The Order is proposed to facilitate the passage on the road of any class of traffic.”
