New electric canal boat - video

A NEW electric canal boat has been lifted by crane into the Wey and Arun Canal at Loxwood.

The environmentally friendly boat, which has been named Wiggonholt, cost 84,000.

It was funded through donations from members of the Wiggonholt Association and the Wey and Arun Canal Trust, as well as by Wey and Arun Enterprises Ltd - a company which was created to enable the Wey and Arun Canal Trust to raise funds.
