The legendary Nando’s has confirmed today (Wednesday January 23) that it is looking to open a restaurant in Horsham town centre.
Gary Duncan, Nando’s regional director, told the County Times: “It’s no lie that we’re looking to open a restaurant in Horsham, having spent the last year looking for a suitable site.
“The public’s support for a Nando’s in Horsham has been overwhelming, with many local fans taking to our website and Facebook and Twitter pages to voice their support. There is clearly a huge demand in Horsham for PERi-PERi chicken!
“However, the search for a site continues and we’ll be in touch as soon as we have any further information.”
Roger Paterson, Horsham District Council’s cabinet member for the Local Economy, said Nando’s would be ‘a very welcome addition to the Horsham restaurant scene’.
