Motorcyclist airlifted with serious injuries
Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries on the B2135 at Ashurst on Sunday afternoon (9 September).
At around 2.30pm a 41-year-old motorcyclist from Crawley left the road on his silver Suzuki GS 500 on a right hand bend while travelling north towards Partridge Green.
He sustained serious but non life-threatening injuries - reportedly spinal - and was flown to Royal Sussex County Hospital where he is recovering today (September 10).
Anyone with information regarding the collision is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 1076
