As nominations for the County Times’ first ever Youth Awards draw to a close, the members of our judging panel have been revealed.
They have a range of experiences and backgrounds and next week they will comb through every nomination and decide who should be recognised at the glitzy ceremony at The Capitol on June 24.
The County Times can now announce they are the following: Jasmin Martin, reporter at the County Times; Maria Stack, support worker at the Horsham charity ARK, Nick Mowat general manager of The Capitol in Horsham, Suzanne Travers marketing manager Places for People Leisure - the company which runs council-owned leisure centres in the Horsham district - and project team leader at the YMCA Y-Centre, Horsham, Katie Bennett.
People have until the end of tomorrow (Friday May 9) to get their nominations in. There are 16 categories to choose from, celebrating triumph across sports, arts, community and achievement.
The newsroom is on a mission to find the district’s most outstanding youngsters and celebrate their success. The suggested age range for nominations is ten to 25, but all nominations will be considered.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, which will be hosted by the young members of our news team at The Capitol in Horsham next month.
See our nomination form (opposite) and send it to the County Times address given.
