Northolmes Junior School in Horsham celebrated Roald Dahl week.

The children took part in a range of activities throughout the school which included measuring how tall Grandma grew in George’s Marvellous Medicine and designing their own amazing medicines!

On September 30 they joined schools from all over the country in taking part in the first ever Dahlicious Dress Up Day. This special day allowed the children to creatively dress up as their favourite Roald Dahl character whilst raising money for The Roald Dahl charity, which helps sick children.

Vicki Boxall, English Reading cCo-ordinator, said : “The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves whilst highlighting the importance of reading.”
